About Us

The Center for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Research (CNPCR) is comprised of three universities and five hospitals. The three universities are The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and The Hong Kong Baptist University. The five hospitals are Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Queen Mary Hospital, and Tuen Mun Hospital.

 

Our Missions:

1. Provide enhanced NPC patient care and public education

2. Develop strategic research programs to translate basic scientific findings into clinical applications

3. Consolidate Hong Kong's status as an international comprehensive center of excellence in NPC research

4. Serve as a worldwide focus of international collaborative networks for basic and clinical research on NPC

 

Our Goal:

To improve the welfare of Hong Kong's NPC patient population by enhancing NPC clinical management through the development of a multi-disciplinary research center of excellence in all aspects of NPC research
